DeleteDecisions...decisions...
ReplyDeleteYes, we've certainly set a tough challenge but a few have stepped up to the bar. I know you can as well.
Deletewarm regards,
Alan
I've now written three but am not happy with any of them as they don't fit with what I've read you're looking for :(
DeleteHow do you know what we are looking for? Your submission was safely and gratefully received!
Deletewarmest regards,
Alan
Hi, Alan, I have just submitted. Alas, I did not understand the digit used in your explanation. Mine may not qualify for ultra right. In that case, please disqualify. Sincerely, eiko yachimoto
ReplyDeleteDear Eiko, your submission was safely received!
DeleteThe humor of saying a submitted work can be from a single digit (the number one) as in, accepting work from 1 word up to 1500 words was with love and humor.
Many thanks for your submission!
warm regards,
Alan
I have sent in my submission. It's not the kind of thing I usually write but I'm not sure if it's revolutionary enough to fit in with your remit.
ReplyDeleteDear Unknown,
DeleteWe look at everything with interest, and appreciate the submissions to this special issue.

Hello, I was wondering when the next submission window will be posted? Great journal! Can’t wait to discover the next edition and give it a try, for number 3! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Sacha,
DeleteIssue #2 is due out at end of July this year (2021).
Issue #3 with its new email address, will open for submissions later in August.
The third issue will be haiku only, and the theme is natural history (wildlife):
What is natural history haiku?
I’ve been asked this a few times regarding the Autumn 2021 issue of Blo͞o Outlier Journal.
It could be said they are powerful nature poems, and raw nature poems.
It’s capturing nature or rather when nature captures us and we become merged.
“Traditionally haiku are rooted in natural history and the seasons, and make us conspirators with wildlife, as nature half-writes the haiku before we've even put pen to paper.”
Alan Summers, With Words and “what is a haiku”
